It can be used to anchor the Lewis Winch to many other stationary objects such as your off road atv, other vehicles, farm equipment, posts, fences or rocks.
If you are using the Lewis Winch as a trailer winch, consider using a Tree-Saver Belt to attach to the load you are pulling up onto your trailer.
This belt is also a great atv accessory because it is light-weight and easy to store in your off road atv.
The Tree-Saver Belt is made of a soft material that won't damage or scratch the finish on your vehicles tow-hooks and under-carriage, or damage the paint on your fence post like a chain could.

The Lewis Winch Tree-Saver Belt can be used in the following ways:

Horizontal Hitch: It can be used straight like a tow strap, such as one end attached to your vehicles front tow-hook and the other end attached to the Lewis Winch.
Choke Hitch: Wrap the Tree-Saver Belt around a tree or post, slip one end through the loop on the other end and pull it tight. Then attach the remaining end to your Lewis Winch.
Basket Hitch: Wrap the Tree-Saver Belt around a rock or a heavy box. Then connect the two ends together with a quick link or a shackle and attach it to your Lewis Winch.
All of these methods will allow you to use the Lewis Winch Tree Saver Belt to attach to the anchor point on your Lewis Winch to use as an anchor for this portable winch - or as a method of attaching the load that you wish to pull, to the hook on the cable of your Lewis Winch.
