- This 21" (53 cm) heavy-duty mower is equipped with a BBC (blade brake clutch) system that allows you to disengage the blades without shutting down the engine. Ideal for when you need to step away from the mower to empty the bag or remove debris from your path. It also features a premium commercial-grade Kawasaki BBC FJ180V KAI engine and a sealed, maintenance-free, 3-speed transmission.
- The deck is made of corrosion-resistant aluminum alloy and comes standard with replaceable steel wear plates to extend the life of the deck. Cables are also protected with steel cable guards mounted to the handle bar. And a tubular engine guard is attached to the front of the deck for tackling the toughest conditions.
- For that perfect quality of cut this mower comes standard with the Recycler® Cutting System, plus the easy-to-empty bagging system has been redesigned with a wider bag opening and ramped tunnel for maximum bag fill.
- The robust design provides maximum life and durability. Front spring arms are contained within the wheels for ultimate protection. Cut in more conditions with heights ranging from 1" to 4.5"
- Tough co-polymer wheels feature precision ball bearings for long life with less downtime and lower replacement costs. These large 9" x 2" wheels also provide a light footprint that is easy on the turf.
- The wide opening and ramped profile of the tunnel maximize bag fill.
- The large 2.1 bushel bag feaures an easy-empty design, making quick work of clipping disposal.
- This patented cutting system cuts and recuts grass clippings into fine mulch and directs them deep into the turf to provide a "just bagged" appearance.
- Extend the life of your mower deck with replaceable steel wear plates that protect against bottom and side impacts. (Standard on models 22295, 22296, 22297, 22298. Optional on 22290)
